Newman Boiler Bay Expansion Project

PRC Building Services Pty Ltd successfully delivered specialist industrial roofing and cladding services for the MAC Boiler Bay Expansion Project, located approximately 140 kilometres north-west of Newman in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

The Boiler Bay Expansion demonstrates PRC Building Services’ capability in industrial and mining roofing solutions, including roof and wall cladding, insulation, ventilation, gutters and flashings.

This major mining infrastructure project highlights our capability to deliver high-quality commercial and mining roofing solutions in remote and demanding environments.

Our scope of work included the supply and installation of Monoclad 0.42 BMT roof and wall cladding, complete with Anticon insulation installed over engineered safety netting to improve thermal performance and site safety. Working closely with our suppliers, we sourced and installed custom static louvers that met the client’s exact project specifications.

The project also included the installation of Stratflo 600mm throat ridge ventilation systems, together with gutters, downpipes and all associated roof flashings to provide a complete, durable roofing solution designed for the harsh Pilbara climate.

Safety remained our highest priority throughout the project. Our experienced team utilised Spyda anchor point systems, elevated work platforms (EWPs) and industry-leading safe work practices to ensure every stage of the installation was completed efficiently and safely.

Despite challenging weather conditions and the coordination required with multiple onsite contractors, PRC Building Services completed the project on schedule and to the complete satisfaction of the client. Our proven experience delivering industrial, commercial and mining roofing projects across Western Australia continues to make us a trusted partner for large-scale construction, maintenance and roofing infrastructure works.
